Newborn Sweet Beginnings - What's Involved?
Those early days go by in a blur, which is why I love capturing newborns just as they are. All the squishiness, the tiny details, the soft skin and sleepy stretches. These sessions are slow and gentle, letting your little one lead the way while I quietly document all the beauty in those first precious weeks.

When you arrive, I want you to breathe out and know you’re in good hands. The studio will be warm and cosy, candles going, and that soft, clean scent in the air. I’ll make you a cup of tea, and you can sink into the couch while I take care of the rest. As a mum who’s been through both a natural birth and a c-section, I truly get it - how hard those early days of recovery can feel, how getting out of the house is a win in itself. You’ve done the hard part just by showing up, and from here, I’ll make it feel easy. My job is to look after you as much as your baby! I'll make sure you walk away feeling calm, proud, and excited.
When Should I book My Session For?
The best time for a newborn photoshoot is within the first two weeks after birth. During this time, babies are extra sleepy and easy to settle, allowing for all the dreamy, peaceful poses everyone loves. Their skin is also soft and clear, and their little features still have that fresh, just-born look. If your baby is a bit older, don’t worry, we can still capture beautiful, relaxed, and natural moments too.

I recommend booking for a week after your due-date, and if you deliver early or late we'll simply just change the date. My newborn calendar is extremely flexible.

I’ve curated a wardrobe of pieces to take the stress out of getting ready, and to make sure you feel amazing in front of the camera. For mums, there’s a mix of flattering styles in all shapes, sizes and tones that photograph beautifully (think floaty dresses, comfy fits, and a few special pieces you might not have at home). For babies, I’ve got lots of outfits and all the sweet little extras covered. Clothing, sockies, headbands… the works. You really can just turn up, relax, and let me style the magic!
