Great question! Lifestyle photography is all about capturing real moments, natural expressions, and you being your awesome self. It’s not about stiff poses or forced smiles—it’s about the in-between moments, the laughter, the details that make life beautiful. Think of it as a mix between documentary-style and portrait photography, with a touch of magic (and maybe a little wind in your hair).

2. “What should I wear?”

First of all, wear something you feel good in! If you’re uncomfortable in an outfit, it’ll show in the photos. Neutrals, earth tones, and soft textures tend to photograph beautifully, but ultimately, the best outfit is one that makes you feel confident. And if you’re unsure, send me a few options—I’m basically your honorary stylist for the day.

3. “Do I need to know how to pose?”

Nope! That’s my job. I’ll guide you through natural movements and prompts that make you feel comfortable and look amazing. You won’t be standing there thinking, What do I do with my hands?!—I promise.

4. “Can I bring my pet/kids/significant other?”

Absolutely! Your photos should represent your life, and if that includes your dog, cat, partner, or tiny human, they’re more than welcome. Just give me a heads-up so we can plan accordingly!

5. “What if I feel awkward in front of the camera?”

Most people do! But trust me, that awkward feeling fades quickly. I create a laid-back, fun atmosphere where you can just be. We’ll chat, move around, and before you know it, you’ll forget the camera is even there.

6. “What’s the best time of day for photos?”

Golden hour (right after sunrise or before sunset) is a dream—soft, glowing light that makes everyone look like a movie star. But if that timing doesn’t work for you, don’t stress! We’ll find the best lighting for your session.

7. “How long until I get my photos?”

I know the excitement is real! I usually deliver a sneak peek within a couple of days, and the full gallery within 2 weeks. Good things take time, and I want your photos to be just right.

8. “What if it rains?”

Mother Nature has a mind of her own, but we’ll roll with it! If the weather is truly a washout, we can reschedule. Or, if you’re feeling adventurous, we can embrace it... Rainy-day photoshoots can be incredible.

9. “Can you help me choose a location?”

Absolutely! Whether you’re dreaming of a golden field, a cozy in-home session, or a city backdrop with lots of character, I’ve got plenty of location ideas. If you have a special spot in mind—maybe where you got engaged, your favorite coffee shop, or just a place that feels like you—let’s go for it! The best location is one that makes you feel comfortable and connected.
